Bridesmaids Dresses

I bin doin lots of things, but I’m so busy with the collection that I haven’t been blogging about any of them. I wanted to tease you with this pic of bridesmaids dresses though…they’ve turned out so pretty. Can’t show you the whole deal til after the bride’s wedding, but here is a taste…

Sabrina – finished dress

I waited until Sabrina wore her dress out in public to post pics of the finished frock. This dress was a serious labour of love, but I learned a lot and it was totally worth the effort. Sab wore it to the Absolute Mode party and Jeanne Beker complimented her on it. Exciting stuff.

Marcus’s bowtie

Boutonniere for The Grumpy Owl.

Bridesmaids

One of the weddings I’m working on at the moment is a really lovely group. The bride was so excited about the bridesmaids’ dresses that she decided to order one to wear at her shower. There were more designs, but each in the first group of girls (I’m organizing it by proximity) has two favourites from the slew of sketches posted below. They will decide by the end of the weekend, and I’ll start pattern drafting next week. (more…)
